After a successful musical career as guitarist and frontman of Welsh band Yr Ods, Griff Lynch has now turned his hand to solo material. The first taster of which comes in the form of debut single ‘Hir Oes Dy Wen’, the accompanying video (above) premiered on Clash who described Griff’s sound as “wistful Welsh electro pop”. Look out for more music from Griff Lynch in 2017.

To mark their 20th anniversary, Electronic Sound have run a 4-page feature on pioneering Brighton label Catskills Records. The feature includes exclusive interviews with brothers and label founders Amr and Khalid Mallassi as well as with James Spectrum of Pepe Deluxe and Mark Nyberg of Husky Rescue.
